Born on January 8, 1973, in Philadelphia to Carlos and Lydia Borges, Debora Carrera is a seasoned educator and pastor. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Temple University, followed by a Master's Degree from Saint Joseph's University and a Doctorate in Education from Gwynedd Mercy University. For over two decades, Pastor Debora has co-pastored Urban Worship Center with her husband, Reverend Jose Luis Carrera Jr. She is a proud mother to Micah, Jeremiah, and Daniel, an amazing daughter-n-law, Rasa and an adoring fur baby named Kamy. She is not only a dedicated pastor but also boasts a 29-year career with the School District of Philadelphia, where she's held roles ranging from teacher to Assistant Superintendent. Currently, she serves as a Special Advisor to the Secretary of Education at the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
